Amends Section 14-212a to impose an additional fee equal to 100% of the original fine for traffic violations committed in fire station work zones where a uniformed firefighter is directing traffic, designated by a municipality

Allows municipalities to post signs at the beginning of fire station work zones reading "FIRE STATION WORK AHEAD FINES DOUBLED" and at the end reading "END FIRE STATION WORK"

Extends the existing doubled-fine penalty structure that previously applied only to highway construction zones, municipal road construction zones, utility work zones, and traffic incident management zones to now include fire station work zones

Provides liability protection for the state and municipalities for failure to post signs that are required or permitted under the signage requirements
