Moderators must deliver duplicate certificates from official checkers to the municipal clerk's office on or before the day following an election or primary.

Certificates must state the total number of registered voters eligible to vote and the actual number of voters who participated.

Moderators who fail to timely deliver duplicate certificates to the municipal clerk must pay a fifty dollar late filing fee.

Municipal clerks must preserve voting check lists for four years after use before destroying them, with exceptions as provided in statute section 7-109.

Effective date is January 1, 2014.
