Increases the maximum annual contribution an individual may make to a town committee of any political party from one thousand dollars to two thousand dollars.

Maintains existing contribution limits for state central committees at five thousand dollars and for legislative caucus and leadership committees at one thousand dollars.

Maintains the seven hundred fifty dollar limit for contributions to other political committees, with existing exemptions for referendum committees, exploratory committees, organization-established committees, and primary slate committees.

Takes effect January 1, 2014.
