Prohibits housing authorities, nonprofit corporations, municipalities, and municipal developers from restricting tenants' use of common facilities and community rooms in public housing projects for political activity.

Defines "political activity" to include events organized for political parties or candidates, petition circulation, community political meetings, campaigns on referendum questions and legislation, and expressing opinions on candidates and political or social issues.

Applies to public housing projects operated as state or federally subsidized multifamily housing under Connecticut General Statutes chapters 128 and 129.

Effective July 1, 2013.
