Prohibits operators of tanning facilities from allowing any person under 17 years of age to use a tanning device, effective October 1, 2013

Operators who knowingly or should reasonably know that a person is under 17 years old and allow them to use a tanning device face a fine of up to $100

Fines collected are payable to the municipal health department or health district in the municipality where the tanning facility is located

Municipal health departments and district departments of health are authorized to enforce this provision within available resources
