Eliminates the $36 name search fee and restructures criminal history record check fees effective October 1, 2013, charging $50 for fingerprint search, personal record search, letters of good conduct search, and bar association search.

Reduces fingerprinting fee from an unspecified amount to $15, and adds a new $5 fee for additional copies of fingerprints requested at time of initial fingerprinting.

Exempts federal, state, and municipal agencies from fees when requesting criminal history checks for individuals seeking employment with those agencies.

Allows the Commissioner of Emergency Services and Public Protection to charge an additional $50 fee for expedited criminal history record checks available through the Internet.

Clarifies that state agencies can be reimbursed by individuals for national criminal history record check fees paid to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, unless otherwise prohibited by statute.
