Allows stock corporations organized under Connecticut general statutes, or foreign stock/nonstock corporations, limited partnerships, or limited liability companies to be members of a medical foundation while operating for profit.

Applies to entities that have entered into a letter of intent with Greater Waterbury Health Network, Inc., Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group, Inc., or other hospitals/health systems with letters of intent dated on or before August 1, 2013.

Creates an exception to Chapter 594b of Connecticut general statutes regarding medical foundation membership requirements.

Effective immediately upon passage.
