Requires individual and group health insurance policies to cover embryo, oocyte, and sperm cryopreservation procedures for insured cancer patients age 18 and older who have not yet begun cancer treatment.

Coverage includes evaluations, laboratory assessments, medications, and treatments associated with cryopreservation procedures, but excludes initial or annual storage costs.

Limits coverage to individuals under age 40 at the time of the procedure.

Restricts lifetime benefits to one procedure for female insureds (either embryo or oocyte cryopreservation) and one sperm cryopreservation procedure for male insureds.

Takes effect January 1, 2015.
