Repeals and replaces Section 38a-511a to limit copayments for individual health insurance policies to a maximum of $30 per visit for in-network physical therapy and occupational therapy services.

Repeals and replaces Section 38a-550a to limit copayments for group health insurance policies to a maximum of $30 per visit for in-network physical therapy and occupational therapy services.

Expands copayment protections to include occupational therapy services rendered by licensed occupational therapists under sections 20-74b or 20-74c, in addition to existing physical therapy protections.

Applies to health insurance policies providing coverage types specified in subdivisions (1), (2), (4), (11), and (12) of section 38a-469 delivered or renewed in Connecticut.

Effective date: January 1, 2015.
