Authorizes school nurses, principals, teachers, licensed athletic trainers, physical or occupational therapists, and coaches to administer antiepileptic medication to students with epilepsy pursuant to written physician orders and parental authorization.

Allows school paraprofessionals to administer antiepileptic medication to specific students with epilepsy for prompt emergency treatment when jointly approved by a school nurse and school medical advisor.

Requires the State Board of Education to adopt regulations specifying conditions and procedures for antiepileptic medication administration by school personnel to students.

Provides civil immunity to school personnel administering antiepileptic medication for ordinary negligence, but not for gross, willful, or wanton negligence.

Effective July 1, 2014, amending Connecticut General Statutes Section 10-212a.
