Probate Court Administration Fund pays 100% of individual health insurance premiums and 50% of additional coverage costs for probate judges and court employees through June 30, 2015.

Beginning July 1, 2015, the Probate Court Administration Fund will pay the same percentage of premiums for probate personnel as the Comptroller pays for active state employees' insurance coverage.

Probate judges and court employees pay the remainder of premium costs not covered by the Probate Court Administration Fund.

Probate Court Administrator remits total premiums directly to insurance companies or nonprofit organizations providing coverage.

Probate Court Administrator shall issue regulations governing group hospitalization and medical and surgical insurance for probate judges and court employees pursuant to section 45a-77.
