Department of Economic and Community Development shall conduct a study examining workforce training needs of the manufacturing industry.

Study must include a survey of all manufacturing businesses in the state to determine current, mid-term, and long-term job-specific training needs for skilled manufacturing employees.

Study must include recommendations for how to meet identified training needs.

Department shall report findings to the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of commerce and labor matters no later than January 1, 2015.
