Requires licensed psychologists in Connecticut to complete a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education during each 12-month registration period, effective October 1, 2014.

Qualifying activities include courses, seminars, workshops, and conferences from accredited sources such as the American Psychological Association, regionally accredited universities, state psychological associations, and nationally recognized providers, with a maximum of 5 hours allowed via distance learning.

Allows psychologists to earn continuing education credit through presentations, lectures, or panel discussions at professional conferences (not to exceed 5 hours) and permits diplomate credentials from the American Board of Professional Psychology to substitute for continuing education requirements.

Exempts first-time license renewal applicants and allows the Commissioner of Public Health to grant waivers or extensions for medical disability, illness, or inactive practice, with returning licensees required to complete 5 hours of continuing education within 6 months of resuming practice.

Requires licensees to retain certificates of completion for at least three years and submit them to the Department of Public Health upon request, with non-compliance subject to disciplinary action.
