Modifies the definition of "interim verification" under brownfield remediation law to specify that remediation can be completed "for all or a portion of an establishment" rather than requiring full site remediation.

Allows certifying parties to submit an interim verification by a licensed environmental professional for a portion of an establishment as an alternative to full verification.

Requires certifying parties to notify the Commissioner within 30 days if a partially remediated portion of an establishment is transferred, conveyed, or changes ownership before full site remediation is complete.

Applies effective from passage to sections 22a-134(28) and 22a-134a(g)(2) of the general statutes.
