Prohibits child day care centers, group day care homes, and family day care homes from providing beverages with added sweeteners (artificial or natural) to children in their care.

Bans juice for children eight months of age or younger; allows only 100% juice for children nine months and older, limited to six ounces per day maximum.

Restricts milk provided by facilities to children two years and older to one percent milk fat content, unless higher fat content is medically required and documented by a child's medical provider.

Requires all child care facilities to make potable drinking water available and easily accessible throughout the day at meals, with water fountains or individual disposable cups provided in classrooms and playrooms.

Exempts facilities from these nutrition standards when beverages, juice, or milk are provided directly by parents or guardians of the child; effective October 1, 2014.
