Permits daily newspaper legal notice requirements in state statutes, special acts, or municipal charters to be satisfied by publication in a weekly newspaper instead, effective October 1, 2014.

Maintains that allowing weekly publication does not reduce or affect the time required by law for giving notice.

Allows municipalities to publish a brief summary of legal notices with a reference to the town's, city's, or borough's website instead of the full legal notice text.

Requires that additional information, including all information otherwise required in the full legal notice, be posted in a conspicuous place on the municipality's website.

Applies to legal notices required to be published by towns, cities, or boroughs under state law.
