Requires individual and group health insurance policies to cover tomosynthesis (in addition to mammograms) as a baseline screening for women ages 35-39 and annually for women age 40 and older, effective January 1, 2015.

Mandates coverage for supplementary screening including ultrasound or MRI for women with dense breast tissue or increased breast cancer risk factors as determined by their physician or advanced practice registered nurse.

Requires all mammography and tomosynthesis reports to include information about breast density using the American College of Radiology's Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System.

Mandates patient notices on mammography and tomosynthesis reports inform women with dense breast tissue about available supplementary screening options and recommend contacting their physician with questions.

Amends Connecticut General Statutes sections 38a-503 and 38a-530 governing individual and group health insurance coverage requirements.
