Authorizes judicial marshals appointed under section 46b-225 to execute or serve capias mittimus orders and related warrants in family support matters, in addition to state marshals and special police officers.

Changes terminology from "special policeman" to "special police officer" for consistency with modern language standards.

Updates gender-neutral language by replacing "his" with "or her" in the statute.

Effective date is October 1, 2014, and amends section 52-56(d) of the general statutes.

Stated purpose is to provide more timely service of civil arrest warrants concerning child support.
