Repeals and replaces subsection (c) of section 8-26 of the general statutes, changing requirements for public hearings on subdivision proposals.

Requires commissions to approve any subdivision proposal that complies with regulations, eliminating previous discretion to hold hearings based on specific circumstances.

Mandates that all plans of resubdivision must be acted upon by the commission only after a public hearing, conducted in accordance with section 8-7d.

Takes effect October 1, 2014.
