Commissioner of Social Services must amend the Medicaid state plan by October 1, 2014 to include services provided by licensed psychologists and clinical social workers to Medicaid recipients age 21 and older

Services from psychologists (licensed under chapter 383) and clinical social workers (licensed under chapter 383b) are added as optional Medicaid coverage

Direct Medicaid reimbursement must be provided to enrolled psychologists and clinical social workers who treat Medicaid recipients in private offices not located in or affiliated with clinics or federally qualified health centers

Act becomes effective July 1, 2014
