Amends Connecticut General Statutes section 54-258 to require the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection to notify superintendents of schools and chief executive officers of municipalities when registered sexual offenders are released into or relocate within their jurisdictions

Mandates electronic mail notification to school superintendents whenever a registrant is released into the community or changes their address, along with the same public registry information available on the Internet

Mandates electronic mail notification to municipal chief executive officers whenever a registrant is released into the community or changes their address, along with the same public registry information available on the Internet

Applies to registrants subject to registration requirements under sections 54-251, 54-252, 54-253, or 54-254 of Connecticut General Statutes

Effective July 1, 2014
