Official checkers at polling places may check voter names either manually on paper or electronically using Secretary of the State-approved devices.

If an electronic check-in device becomes inoperable, official checkers must revert to using a printed copy of the voter list.

Voters must present identification or complete a form before voting, with official checkers recording their participation manually or electronically.

Electronic registry lists must be printed and signed by registrars, then deposited with the municipal clerk the following day alongside traditional paper lists.

Secretary of the State must review and approve electronic check-in devices by September 1, 2015, maintaining an updated list available to municipalities.
