Allows religious nursing home facilities operated exclusively by religious orders to serve as conservators of the estate and person for their members, creating an exception to the existing prohibition on nursing homes serving as conservators.

Defines "religious nursing home facility" as a nursing home operated exclusively by and for a religious order committed to lifelong care of members bound by permanent vows.

Amends the conservatorship statute (section 45a-644) to carve out religious nursing home facilities from the blanket prohibition against nursing homes, hospitals, and residential care homes serving as conservators.

Updates cross-references in sections 45a-650 and 45a-652 from subsection letters to subdivision numbers to reflect the reorganized definition section.

Effective date of October 1, 2014 for all amendments.
