Revises subsection (a) of section 29-252 of the general statutes regarding the State Building Code adoption and amendment process, effective October 1, 2015.

Requires the State Building Code to be revised no later than January 1, 2016, to incorporate revisions to the National Electrical Code adopted by the National Fire Protection Association in 2014.

Establishes that subsequent National Electrical Code revisions must be incorporated into the State Building Code no later than one year following their first publication date.

Maintains existing requirements that the State Building Code promote energy conservation and facilitate renewable energy resources, including provisions for electric vehicle charging circuits in newly constructed residential garages.
