Increases penalties for labor organization officers who fail to file required annual reports from $25 to $500 for the first failure and $1,000 for each subsequent failure.

Applies to labor organizations with 25 or more members that are not subject to the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act of 1959, requiring annual financial reports filed with the Labor Commissioner.

Makes labor organization reports available to public inspection (removing previous restriction limiting access to members only) and allows the state to audit reports at the written request of any member.

Effective October 1, 2015 and amends Connecticut General Statute Section 31-77.
