Residential building owners must affix numerals to their buildings displaying the street number assigned by the town or customarily used, effective October 1, 2015

Numerals must be at least three inches in height, positioned 4 to 12 feet above ground, located on the building's exterior front, and in a color contrasting with the background

Numerals must be legible when viewed from the centerline of the street between projections of the building's sides

Buildings set back more than 100 feet from the street centerline or blocked by obstructions must display an additional set of numerals on a post, sign, mailbox, or similar device within 10 feet of the driveway entrance, meeting the same size and color specifications

Violation of any provision is classified as an infraction
