Amends section 8-30g of the general statutes to exempt municipalities from the Affordable Housing Land Use Appeals Act in locations not depicted in their housing affordability plan.

Exemption requires the municipality to have a housing affordability plan approved by their legislative body that includes a commitment to increasing affordable housing stock.

Plan must demonstrate commitment through at least one of five methods: establishing incentive housing zones, establishing inclusionary zoning regulations, establishing inclusionary zoning fees, establishing an affordable housing trust fund, or developing zoning districts or floating zones allowing multifamily housing.
