Commissioner of Motor Vehicles must conduct a study examining compliance with state law and regulations by vendors providing transportation to special education students under section 10-76d of the general statutes.

Study must be conducted in consultation with the Commissioners of Education and Transportation.

Commissioner must submit recommendations to the joint standing committees on transportation and education regarding needed changes no later than July 1, 2016.

Intended to ensure appropriate oversight of transportation providers serving students with disabilities.
