Amends section 21a-12f of the general statutes to require pharmacies operating ten or more retail locations in the state to install secure locked boxes accessible to the public 24 hours daily for anonymous disposal of unwanted pharmaceuticals.

Requires that collected pharmaceuticals be transported to an appropriate facility for witnessed incineration.

Exempts schedule I controlled substances from the disposal requirements.

Intended to protect public health by removing unwanted pharmaceuticals from the community.
