Establishes a task force to study the distribution of group homes throughout the state, effective upon passage.

Task force composition includes eight members: two appointed by the House Speaker, two by the Senate President Pro Tempore, one each by the House and Senate majority leaders, and one each by the House and Senate minority leaders.

All appointments must be made within 30 days of the effective date, with the Speaker and Senate President Pro Tempore selecting task force chairpersons who shall schedule the first meeting within 60 days.

Administrative support provided by the joint standing committee staff having cognizance of planning and development matters.

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the planning and development joint standing committee by January 1, 2016, and terminates upon submission of the report or January 1, 2016, whichever is later.
