Amends Title 29 of the general statutes to require automatic reinstatement of firearms permits when charges are dismissed, result in acquittal, or are nolled.

A judge must order immediate reinstatement of a defendant's permit if the permit was originally revoked based on an arrest for a criminal violation.

Eliminates the need for permit holders to pursue additional administrative appeals to restore their firearms permits following favorable case outcomes.
