Requires insurers, health care centers, and other health care benefit providers to maintain as confidential any data reported by eligible professionals to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services' Physician Quality Reporting System that is not publicly available.

Prohibits contracts between managed care companies, insurers, or organizations and medical providers from requiring providers to indemnify the insurer for expenses and liabilities related to claims based on the insurer's determination of medical necessity, provided the provider's information was accurate and appropriate when given.

Clarifies that medical providers remain responsible for their own professional actions and related liability regardless of indemnification provisions.

Defines "medical provider" as any person licensed under Connecticut chapters 370-373, 375, 379, 380, or 383.

Effective October 1, 2015.
