Amends Connecticut General Statutes section 10-233d(d) to require all students under 18 years of age who are expelled to receive access to an alternative educational opportunity during their expulsion period.

Mandates local or regional boards of education provide parents or guardians of expelled students with information about available alternative educational opportunities.

Requires alternative educational opportunities to provide at least 15 hours of actual school work per week.
