HB 6842 Summary

• Moves the Council on Environmental Quality from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to the Joint Committee on Legislative Management within the Legislative Department, effective July 1, 2015.

• Changes the State Board of Accountancy's location from the Office of the Secretary of the State to the Department of Consumer Protection and eliminates member reimbursement for expenses.

• Eliminates the contingency fund established by section 4-84 and removes references to it in disaster housing provisions.

• Adds the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection's boating and boating activities expenses to the Special Transportation Fund allocation.

• Repeals sections 4-84 and 27-76 of the general statutes, effective July 1, 2015.
