Department of Economic and Community Development shall conduct a study in collaboration with the Department of Education, Board of Regents for Higher Education, and University of Connecticut on workforce demands in the state and appropriate training to meet those demands.

Study results must be submitted to joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of commerce, education, and higher education matters no later than January 1, 2016.

Report shall comply with section 11-4a of the general statutes regarding submission procedures.

Section takes effect upon passage of the bill.
