Modifies probation eligibility for class A felonies to allow probation for sexual assault convictions under sections 53a-70 and 53a-70a, effective October 1, 2015.

Increases mandatory minimum sentences for sexual assault in the first degree: establishes minimum 10-year sentences (including any suspended portion) for all convictions under this section.

Elevates sexual assault in the first degree to class A felony status when victim is under 16 years of age and offense involves specific conduct, with 5-10 year non-suspendable portions depending on victim age.

Increases penalties for aggravated sexual assault in the first degree: raises minimum sentence from 5 years to 10 years, with 25-year sentences required when underlying offense is sexual assault in the first degree with victim under 16 years of age.

All amendments take effect October 1, 2015.
