Requires the Chief Court Administrator to designate space in Superior Courts where restraining orders under section 46b-15 may be issued, allowing meetings between state marshals and persons seeking service of restraining order notices and orders.

Directs the Chief Court Administrator to revise and simplify the filing process for applications for relief from abuse under section 46b-15.

Mandates that the Chief Court Administrator provide a one-page, plain language explanation to all persons seeking to file an application for relief from abuse.

Requires the Chief Court Administrator to annually collect data on the number of restraining or protective orders issued under sections 46b-15, 46b-16a, or 46b-38c and the number subsequently vacated due to inability to serve the respondent.

Effective date of October 1, 2015.
