Secretary of the State shall conduct a feasibility study on establishing series limited liability companies in Connecticut, in consultation with small business owners and attorneys specializing in business and corporate law.

Study shall examine potential advantages and disadvantages of series LLCs, including start-up costs, administrative costs, tax and revenue implications, and asset protection benefits.

Secretary of the State must report findings to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of judiciary matters on or before February 1, 2016.

Legislation becomes effective upon passage.
