Insurance Commissioner shall conduct a study on health insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses for epinephrine auto-injectors (epinephrine pens) in policies and plans delivered or issued in Connecticut

Study must examine classification of epinephrine injectors under insurance policies, out-of-pocket costs charged to insured individuals, and opportunities to reduce costs for consumers

Commissioner shall submit findings report to the joint standing committee on insurance no later than January 1, 2016

Effective immediately upon passage
