Amends Section 7-88 of general statutes to include gender-neutral language regarding elected constables, requiring oath of office within 30 days and lodging the certificate with the town clerk.

Removes gendered pronouns and replaces "his" with "such" when referring to a constable's office vacancy, which is then filled per Section 9-220.

Amends Section 7-90 to add gender-neutral language allowing constables to command assistance from any person when necessary in executing their duties.

All amendments become effective October 1, 2015.
