Commissioner of Housing shall conduct a study of public housing in the state that houses both elderly tenants (age 62+) and younger tenants with disabilities, in consultation with relevant state departments and the Office of Protection and Advocacy.

Study must include recommendations on providing comparable housing for displaced tenants, additional support services needed, estimated state appropriations required, assessment of available services and gaps, and summary of negative incidents and evictions between the two tenant groups from 2010-2014.

Commissioner of Housing shall report findings to the joint standing committee having cognizance of housing matters on or before December 1, 2015.

Effective date is July 1, 2015.
