Commissioner of Public Health, in consultation with Commissioner of Veterans' Affairs, shall conduct a study on implementing a treatment program for veterans with traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress disorder, effective October 1, 2015

Study shall include recommendations on best peer-reviewed and evidence-based protocols and therapies, including resource facilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and hyperbaric therapy

Study shall identify types of health care providers needed, estimate the number of affected veterans, and analyze available federal and state funding for the program

Study shall analyze costs of traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder among veterans and the fiscal impact of program implementation

Findings and recommendations must be reported to the joint standing committee on military and veterans' affairs by January 1, 2016
