Adds motor vehicle inspectors to the legal definition of "peace officer" under Connecticut General Statutes section 53a-3(9), effective July 1, 2015

Requires motor vehicle inspectors to be acting under the authority of section 14-8 and certified as police officers by the Police Officer Standards and Training Council (sections 7-294a to 7-294e) to qualify as peace officers

Expands the existing list of designated peace officers to include this new category alongside state police, local police, court marshals, conservation officers, and federal special agents
