Requires nonprofit hospitals to disclose names and financial compensation of officers, directors, board members, and senior managers who receive salary, severance, stock offerings, or other financial gains from proposed asset transfer or control change transactions.

Modifies certificate of need application requirements to include a fairness evaluation by an independent expert and documentation of due diligence, including disclosure of rejected alternative offers.

Requires hospitals approved for transactions under sections 19a-486 to 19a-486h to report all compensation realized by executives as a result of those transactions in annual reports to the Department of Public Health.

Expands hospital reporting requirements to include information about parent corporations, joint ventures, partnerships, subsidiaries, and related entities that own or control the health care facility.

Effective date of July 1, 2015 for all amendments to general statutes sections 19a-486a and 19a-644.
