Establishes a task force to study food-borne disease outbreaks originating from public eating places and examine what information is communicated to the public and how it is communicated

Task force membership consists of 10 members: representatives from the Connecticut Restaurant Association, local health directors, food operators, a person who experienced food-borne illness, wholesale food suppliers, and the Connecticut Food Association, plus the Commissioners of Public Health and Consumer Protection

All task force appointments must be made within 30 days of the act's effective date, with the first meeting scheduled within 60 days

Task force must submit findings and recommendations to the General Assembly committees on public health and general law by January 1, 2016, including recommendations on notifying the public about confirmed food-borne disease outbreaks

Task force terminates upon submission of its report or January 1, 2016, whichever is later
