Establishes a task force to study standardization of emergency code calls in hospitals, examining differences in emergency code usage across the state.

Task force on emergency codes consists of 10 members: four appointed by legislative leaders (speaker and president pro tempore), two by majority leaders, four by minority leaders, and the Commissioner of Public Health or designee.

Establishes a second task force to study value-based pricing of prescription drugs with 11 members including appointments by legislative leaders and the Commissioners of Consumer Protection, Insurance, and Public Health.

Both task forces must submit reports to the relevant General Assembly committees by January 1, 2016, with initial meetings scheduled within 60 days of the effective date.

Task forces terminate upon submitting their reports or on January 1, 2016, whichever is later.
