Amends Connecticut statute 46b-127(c) to allow courts to depart from mandatory minimum sentences when sentencing children transferred to adult criminal court for good cause shown.

Children transferred to regular criminal docket continue to be tried and sentenced as adults if convicted, but gain discretion in sentencing for mandatory minimum offenses.

Preserves existing provisions allowing transferred children to receive credit for time served in juvenile facilities and enter guilty pleas to lesser offenses.

Becomes effective upon passage and applies to section 46b-127(c) of the general statutes.
