Establishes a task force effective July 1, 2016 to study best practices for delivering health and human services to persons age 60 and older through senior centers and municipal agents.

Task force shall examine resources and training needs, effective delivery methods, current information practices, best practices in Connecticut and other states, barriers to access, and cost data from emergency services and police departments for 2015.

Task force consists of nine members appointed by legislative leaders, including a municipal agent, senior center director, area agency director, senior center service recipient, and Commission on Aging executive director.

All appointments must be made by September 1, 2016, with the first meeting scheduled by October 1, 2016, and administrative support provided by Commission on Aging staff.

Task force shall submit findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee on aging by July 1, 2017, and shall terminate upon report submission or July 1, 2017, whichever is later.
