State agencies must submit a list of all automated personal data systems containing personal data to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management by December 31, 2016, and annually thereafter.

Each submitted list must include the general nature and purpose of each system, categories of personal data contained, how the data is used, and categories of authorized users.

The Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management must create and post an inventory of all submitted state agency lists on its Internet website by January 31, 2017, and annually thereafter.

Expands the definition of "computer accessible files" in section 4-190 of the general statutes to include external or removable hard drives, flash cards, flash drives, compact disks, and digital video disks in addition to existing storage media.

Corrects the spelling of "scanable" to "scannable" in the definition of computer accessible files.
