Extends dental insurance coverage for children under parents' individual and group health insurance policies until age 26, effective January 1, 2017.

Allows children to remain on parents' dental plans until the policy anniversary date on or after age 26, or until they become covered under their own group health plan through employment, whichever occurs first.

Applies to both individual health insurance policies and group health insurance policies that include dental coverage under subdivision (16) of section 38a-469.

Requires coverage of stepchildren on the same basis as biological children under policies subject to these provisions.
